Description

The Santa Cruz Tallboy 5 C 2024 sits in the sweet spot between cross-country efficiency and trail bike capability. It’s often described as a “downhiller’s XC bike” because it climbs efficiently like an XC rig but descends with far more confidence and stability than traditional short-travel bikes.

Built around Santa Cruz’s VPP suspension system, the Tallboy delivers strong pedaling support while keeping excellent traction on rough terrain. With 120mm rear and 130mm front travel, it matches modern “downcountry” expectations—fast enough for long rides, but playful and capable enough for technical trails and rough descents.
